Sweeping Edge III is an enchantment suitable for mass farming mobs like skeletons or zombies that are always numerous and in groups. Each cleave or sweep attack you do with your sword will have a predetermined amount, to which with Sweeping Edge III, will add an increment in the damage output per hit.
Sweeping Edge III is the highest level of sweeping enchantment for swords. Good for decorating caves with the burning bodies of your enemies. Combine it with Sweeping Edge III and Sharpness V to set multiple enemies on fire.

But with Knockback II enchantment, you can send them flying for around 6-7 blocks away from you. Normally, your sword will deal with a small amount of push force (plus the base damage) that will knock back your enemies for around 2-3 blocks. Probably the least favorite in the Minecraft community, Knockback II is a sword enchantment that puts a bit of extra knockback force with each hit. Unless you’re roleplaying, it is highly recommended that you don’t use it. However, it gives you a sense of realism that if you die, your weapon dies with you, no matter how good its quality is. This enchantment does not increase your weapon’s overall attack damage, nor does it give your sword better durability.
